For those of you resident in the North West corner of Wales and Anglesey, your local archery club is Gwynedd Bowmen which is based in Bodedern on the Isle of Anglesey.
The club's regular shooting day is Friday. The venue for 2010 is Bodedern High School. The most important part of this is it's warm and dry. The shooting times at Bodedern are 6:00pm til 9:00pm. If you are not sure where to go please ring any of our committee members who will be only too willing to direct you.
The club welcomes everyone : beginners, established archers, young and old to participate. With such a wide variety of abilities you won't feel out of place and you'll soon be competing with each other for the glory.
BEGINNERS of all ages are always welcome. The age range of our current membership
is between 9 and 70-
If you'd like to pursue this massively addictive sport then you need to book a place on a beginner’s course. Courses consists of instruction over a six week period at a charge of £30 payable in advance. You will be supplied with bows, arrows, all other paraphernalia and a fully qualified coach. To book please contact the secretary.
Experienced registered archers (with GNAS) are more than welcome to shoot with us at visitor rates. Just bring your equipment and your current GNAS membership card and get stuck in. If you are a visitor just make yourself known to a committee member, who will point you in the right direction.
